Well, Alcatel is still alive and kicking and has recently revealed details about the launching of two new Android running smartphones for joining the Idol family, the Alcatel One Touch Idol S and One Touch Idol Mini, each being made for suiting different areas of consumers. If you aim for buying something from the entry-level area, the Idol Mini is here for bringing you a nice combination of features packed in a small and compact body, which will surely be available at a smaller price too. The Idol Mini holds inside a dual-core 1.3 GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM and comes in two flavors: the first one is a single SIM and hosts an internal memory of 4 GB which is expandable and the other one is a dual-SIM that has 8 GB of internal memory, but no microSD slot for expanding it. The Idol Mini is home for a 4.3 inches IPS display that has a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and a 228 ppi pixel density. Both smartphones come loaded with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and promise to offer you a satisfying user experience. They're also looking quite nice and you'll surely enjoy their youthful design and slim, lightweight body that is comfortable to manage with one hand and easy to slip into pockets.
